The winter is here and so are the days of festivity. Who doesn’t like Christmas? This season enjoy with your family in Dubai with some of the amazing fun and frolic things to do in Dubai during Christmas 2020. I personally love a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows and watching the winter with some snowflakes.
And Dubai offers everything for everyone. From Santa to a hot beach, here are some of the amazing events to look up to.
Best ways to spend the Christmas in Dubai 2020
Let’s start with my favourite please:
- Shopping in the Mall of Dubai: well known for being the biggest mall in the world, The Mall of Dubai has the best arrangements for Christmas. From Wine, Hot Chocolate, and festive food. In Dubai, you can keep shopping for the eleventh hour indeed because The Dubai Mall has plenty of opportunities for events and other festivities.
- Christmas on the beach: Dubai has many beaches around and you can enjoy those beaches at times of Christmas as well. It is for those exotic lovers of the sun even in December. But nonetheless, tanning like a turkey cannot be avoided if there is no sunscreen. Carry one with you.
- Have a hearty laugh: the laughter factory in Dubai gives some amazing laughs. Prince Abdi, Naomi Cooper and Paul Tonkinson are ready to give you the best time of your life. What can be better than good humour and some amazing time with friends?\
- Dubai Opera: Another reason to visit the Dubai Opera this festive season is the enchanting ice-skating extravaganza, Cirque de Glace. The performers will be showing off their ice-skating skills to tell the story of the planet’s creation with incredible acrobatics, accompanied by lilting music and exhilarating performances that will take your breath away.
- Watch Beauty and the beast: This Christmas, relive your fairytale with a live performance of Beauty and the Beast at Theatre by QE2 before Christmas Day. The tale is based on the French fairy tale La Belle et la Bete. The story revolves around Belle and a misunderstood beast and is sure to leave you enthralled. Dates and timings vary for different shows at Queen Elizabeth 2.
- Snowman!!!: Do your kids love Christmas shows? Take them to a screening of The Snowman at Mall of the Emirates. The longest-running Christmas show in the history of English theatre will be screened for the first time in the UAE. Based on the book by Raymond Brigg, The Snowman is a story about a boy whose snowman comes to life.
- Winter Wonderland: Be sure to visit the Madinat Jumeirah, which transforms into a Dubai winter wonderland, complete with a German-style Christmas market, a North Pole train ride, a giant snowball zone and daily appearances by Santa himself. Global Village is also a must-see attraction, showcasing a different country in each of its 30 pavilions. While it’s not a seasonal attraction in its own right, Global Village offers a unique opportunity to enjoy shopping, festive foods and cultural shows from countries all over the world.
Conclusion
These are some of the best places to be and the events to take part in. you can enjoy an amazing Christmas in Dubai 2020 with all the festivities.
